Hayriye Güleç je docentkou na katedře psychologie na Bursa Uludağ University a výzkumnou pracovnicí v Interdisciplinárním výzkumném týmu pro internet a společnost na Masarykově univerzitě. Její výzkumné zájmy se soustředí na elektronické duševní zdraví, výzkum psychoterapie, diskriminaci, stigmatizaci a zastoupení znevýhodněných skupin. V současné době se věnuje výzkumu chování dospívajících na internetu v souvislosti se zdravím se zaměřením na jejich digitální dovednosti a well-being.
