Členové týmu
Steriani Elavsky, Ph.D. je výzkumnicí v Interdisciplinárním výzkumu internetu a společnosti na Masarykově univerzitě. Je členkou Interdisciplinárního výzkumu internetu a společnosti, a členkou programu SoMoPro (South Moravian Programme for Distinguished Researchers). Aktuálně se její výzkum zaměřuje na mobilní technologie pro podporu zdraví (mHealth), životní pohodu (well-being) a aktivního stárnutí v České republice. Součástí jejích výzkumných zájmů je také novelizace metod pro behaviorální a psychologický monitoring, a intervence u starších dospělých pomocí aplikace ekologických ambulatorních metodologií.
Steriny širší výzkumné zájmy zahrnují témata spojená se zdravím, jako například fyzickou aktivitu, stárnutí, a zdraví žen. Publikovala v mnoha mezinárodních časopisech jako Health Psychology, Annals of Behavioral Medicine, Journal of Exercise and Sport Psychology or the European Journal of Physical Activity and Aging, a dalších. Je dlouhodobým členem americké organizace Society of Behavioral Medicine, a strávila 16 let prací v amerických institucích, například v University of Illinois nebo Penn state University, kde také získala akademickou pozici jako tenure a je dodnes adjunktní profesorkou.
