Blog: MediaPsych Conference 2025
Do adolescents learn cyberhate? How should parents handle conflicts with their children about internet use? Why do children feel ashamed to confide in their parents about their experiences with sexual harassment in the online world? These and many other questions were addressed in the presentations by researchers from the Brno-based IRTIS team at the 14th annual international MediaPsych Conference 2025 in Duisburg, Germany.
One of Germany’s largest higher education institutions, the University of Duisburg-Essen, hosted the 14th annual international MediaPsych Conference 2025 this September. Among the more than 230 participants from 21 countries were also members of the Brno-based research team IRTIS. The main themes of the conference included the promotion of media literacy and the regulation of technologies. At the same time, the conference provided an opportunity to explore shared solutions for the relationship between humans and the ever-evolving world of digital technologies. Below you can find the full presentations and author profiles.
