Mgr. Radka Kůřilová is a psychologist and lecturer who focuses primarily on working with children and adolescents. She used to work as a school psychologist. Now at Onfine, she leads its lectures team and is responsible for education for children, teachers, and parents — overseeing activities that help the younger generation develop a healthy relationship with digital technologies and themselves. She also promotes the topic of digital wellbeing at conferences and in the media. She is the author of the book for parents Už to vypni! (Turn it off already!).
Mgr. Markéta Homolková is an experienced psychologist and lecturer who focuses on the impact of technology on individual work life as well as overall organizational functioning. At Onfine, she is also responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for all age groups. She embraces creativity and innovation, enjoys experimenting with ways to engage her audience, and boredom is strictly prohibited from her lectures.
Mgr. Petr Baďura, Ph.D., is a research fellow specialising in data collection and analysis, he is the principal investigator of the Czech part of the international HBSC epidemiological study. He has built his professional career at Palacký University, where since 2013 he has worked across several departments – not only as a researcher and data specialist but also as a university lecturer. Together with the team of the Zdravá generace (Healthy Generation) project, he recognises that publishing a scientific article is only the beginning of research. Since 2018, he has been increasingly dedicated to communicating research findings on the lifestyle of children and adolescents to a wide range of target audiences.
Mgr. Radek Palaščák is a communications specialist, copywriter, and former spokesperson for Palacký University. He applies his knowledge and experience in marketing communication and public relations to a field that is still relatively new in the Czech Republic – science communication, or what is sometimes referred to as the dissemination and practical application of research findings. What does this mean in the context of social science research? Primarily, it involves the ability to “translate” research data into language that anyone can understand, and to present it in ways that are engaging for the audiences the Zdravá generace (Healthy Generation) project team aims to reach – policymakers, school directors and teachers, children and teenagers, as well as the general public.
Mgr. Adam Klocek, Ph.D., is a research fellow at the Institute of Psychology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Institute for Psychological Research at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, and the Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Košice. He also works as an analyst at the Czech Science Foundation. His research focuses on psychotherapy (including being in psychotherapy training), peer relationships, and bullying. He is a co-author of the monitoring tool YoungLink for analyzing school climate and participated in evaluations of educational programs (e.g., KiVa antibullying program). He is also actively involved in science communication, for example through the Czech Academy of Sciences’ high school outreach program “Jedu vědu”.
Marie Jaron Bedrosova earned her PhD in media and communication studies at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University. There, she also works as a postdoc at a research department Interdisciplinary Research Team on Internet and Society (IRTIS). IRTIS carries out primary research related to the social, psychological, sociological and political implications of the use of information and communication technologies. Marie has written several research reports for the public and she regularly communicates scientific findings to the public and media. Her research interests are mainly cyberhate, cyberaggression and discrimination experiences of young people and adolescents.
