Since the autumn, two new colleagues have been working with us - Alena Sobolieva-Tereshchenko and Rubén Olveira Araujoz. While Alena is one of our new postdocs, Rubén is with us for a three-month research stay. We warmly welcome them and look forward to embarking on research with them!
Olena Sobolieva-Tershchenko, Ph.D., who prefers to go by the nickname Alena, earned her doctorate in economics at the Kyiv National Economic University. She has 11 years of experience at Kyiv National Economic University, Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, and 15 years of experience in the commercial sector, the government, and international banks of Ukraine. Her main scientific interests lie in e-Health literacy, financial literacy, and digital literacy of young people. She likes to swim and read. She has an easygoing personality and an open mind.
Rubén Olveira Araujoz is a journalist, sexologist, and researcher in the area of social communication at the University of the Basque Country. Interested in sexual diversity, organizational communication, and the application of Big Data to media analysis and journalism, transsexuality in the news media is the main focus of his research.
