How to travel to Brno
By plane
Brno has a small airport, yet it can be more convenient to look at flights to Vienna or Prague, from where there is also easy access by train or bus.
Brno International Airport
The Brno International Airport provides flights to and from Prague, London, Munich, Eindhoven and other destinations. It’s located 12 km/20 minutes from the city centre and you can easily take a taxi or the express bus (no. 76). The bus stop is located directly outside the airport entrance and the express bus goes to Hlavní Nádraží (Brno central railway station).

By car
Brno has highway connections with Prague (route D1, approx. 200 km) and Bratislava (Slovakia) (route D2, approx. 120 km). From Vienna, use routes A5, B7 (Austria), and 52 (Czech Republic).
For travel on highways in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, or Austria, an electronic vignette is necessary. Vignettes can be purchased at edalnice.cz, branches of the Czech Post, some petrol stations, and in kiosks at border crossings.
By train
The Brno central railway station (Brno Hlavní Nádraží) lies directly in the city centre. Trains between Prague and Brno operate in 1-hour intervals. Brno is also easily accessible by direct trains from Vienna, Bratislava, Berlin or Budapest, which operate several times a day.
You can buy a train ticket from České dráhy or RegioJet.
By bus
The Brno main bus station "UAN Zvonarka" lies near the city centre and is accessible from most Central European capitals.
Some bus connections (often those from Prague and Vienna airports) arrive at "Brno Hotel Grand station", which is also in the city centre and near the main train station.
How to travel to Komenského náměstí (the conference venue)
From the main train station
From the main train station, Brno Hlavní Nádraží, you can walk through the city centre to the conference venue in approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
Tram no. 9
- Direction Čertova rokle .
- Enter at the tram stop Hlavní nádraží (central railway station)– exit at the tram stop Česká. The conference venue is approximately 3–5 minutes away by walk along Joštova Street.
Tram no. 10
- Direction Stránská skála.
- Enter at the tram stop Hlavní nádraží (central railway station) – exit at the tram stop Česká. The conference venue is approximately 3–5 minutes away by walk along Joštova Street.
Tram no. 12
- Direction Technologický park.
- Enter at the tram stop Hlavní nádraží (central railway station) – exit at the tram stop Česká. The conference venue is approximately 3–5 minutes away by walk along Joštova Street.
From the city centre (Česká street)
From the tram stop Česká, the conference venue at Komenského náměstí is within easy walking distance. Walk along Joštova Street in the direction of the Constitutional Court, and after approximately 3–5 minutes, you will reach Komenského náměstí.

Brno has a wide network of public transport services, and they are operating 24/7.
Tickets for public transport in Brno can be bought in numerous ways.
Beep and Go

SMS ticket
You can also purchase your ticket via SMS. However, a Czech SIM card is needed!

CYBERSPACE
The 29th Workshop on Aggression is followed by another international conference, Cyberspace, which takes place on November 28-29 in Brno. The conference is co-organised by the Interdisciplinary Research Team on Internet and Society (IRTIS), the organisers of this year's Workshop on Aggression. Cyberspace includes streams on the internet and society, psychology of cyberspace, or AI technologies. Even though it is a different event, you may also be interested in attending. The conference is organised as a part of the project „Research of Excellence on Digital Technologies and Wellbeing CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004583“, which was co-financed by the European Union.
