Special panel: The Impact of Technologies on Well-Being

Research increasingly shows that the effects of digital technologies on well-being are small, heterogeneous, and context-dependent. This panel examines diverse forms of technology use and well-being across longitudinal, experience-sampling, scale-development, and intervention studies. Together, the contributions highlight differential susceptibility, reciprocal dynamics, and new methodological approaches, while considering how nuanced media-effects research can inform evidence-based strategies for supporting well-being.
